good game, tjmaxattack! What happens if you play 70 Ke4 and 71 Bf3? I think you win his F-pawn and the game.
Tjmaxattack maybe 56. Kd2. Then he can't get to the c3 square, and you will queen unopposed, it seems. Maybe going after the a pawn straight away when you get the chance at move 62-63 would have been right. Interesting game!

as i said in the notes i got a little lucky as my opponent helped me at times.. but if i hope to improve my rating to 1200-1400 anytime soon i need to win these games against lower rated opponents.

Well done, Cygnus, happy to report a win here as well, though I didn't really deserve it; got the advantage in the opening thanks to some simple tactics, and then made a mess of it! But I managed to gather myself (thanks to my opponent giving me a few breaks). Not good at all, but a point is a point...
