Is there any chance that everybody with #10 spot made it to the finals? As I recall in the previous year chess com allowed 11 or even 12 guys to pass through 1 qualifier if they had the same tiebreak stats. And that is why we had like 110 participants in the finals.

Last time, and presumably this time too, you have to have the same tiebreak.  If you're tied on points and tiebreak, you would both get in.

Last time I had two or three qualifiers where I had the points but missed out on tiebreak.  I haven't gotten a chance to play in any qualifiers this time yet, but they look tougher - the top 10+ spots are all taken by 2000+ players.

@MGleason hey buddy, i am going to be tied up at work for the next one or two qualifiers. Feel free to add today's qualifiers. Otherwise i will update them tomorrow. thx

@mgaleason, but the rules said max 100 people in finals, so thats what is weird. if they accept more then 10 from a qualifier then the final number will be over 100

I got a pathetic 2/7... one good win over a 1700, and some losses against people I should have beaten.

how to join?

Go into the live chess server and go to the tournaments tab.  It will show up in the list an hour before it's due to start, and you can join any time before it begins.

I think 1800+ can qualify
