Vote chess

Communication is key to success. An inactive chat in Vote Chess is bad.

If a member writes down a move, then please review the move like you would do when playing your daily matches. Tell your fellow member whether you agree to this move or disagree.

You could also analyze your own move that could perhaps be a better and more suitable move for our clubs vote chess match.

There is a rule made by Chess.com that last voter gets priority above past voter. So it’s important that we agree to a move before vote calling that move, to be sure that we make the right move and not a wrong move.

Lack of communication in VC will in the end be our downfall.

Please don’t be discouraged to write down a move, as you are worried you want the team to vote for a move that would be considered a mistake or a blunder.

Vote chess is team work and team play, we work together as a team.

If you are new to vote chess then please just ask for guidance.

Cheers

To be honest, I'm familiar with daily chess matches, but I'm not quite familiar with this vote chess concept and how to participate in it. I have received some messages mentioning it, though. I see you did give some explanation , if there's an ongoing vote chess game where we can contribute, could you please share the link? Maybe that way we can better understand.

Go to our homepage and scroll all the way down to where it says matches and vote chess, click on the vote chess game and join each individual game.

I will share some screenshots of commentary of other vote chess matches from my other club. As I’m Admin in that club I will try my best how to use these screenshots to showcase how moves are discussed and how to share lines of a move and a potential move order.

I might screen record on my phone while playing Vote Chess to show you how I do it. And how others are doing it. It will be added to my youtube channel and shared with you guys.

And if there are players in this club that know how vote chess works, then feel free to share it in this thread.

I might create a separate forum post dedicated on how to, in a more organized fashion. But for now I will stick to this thread.

Vote-Chess and Daily-Chess both's logic are same only difference is in vote chess before playing your move you have to share/discuss your opinion in 'private chat box' ( you will see the private chat menu in there) and the majority move will be the final move and we all then play that move. This is how we will play every moves in vote chess.
(Generally the majority vote is counted as a final move though you directly play your move without sharing but before playing we should share our opinion which move is best then we will play that move. That is the main concept for vote chess cz it's known as a group match I think so. Hope now you @Shahrukh-Shahmim understand the concept for vote chess)
