Reason: We found out that the gameplay is quite exciting and filled with very interesting attacking ideas: even if zombies do decide a lot, the amount of swindles is quite high nonetheless. However, we do not accept any WoFs in blitz time control, nor is this time control any fitting. Therefore, we have included your variant into rotation with the 30s+1 time control.
The pawns will come to your aid in interesting ways, defeat them or your opponent. Promotion on the fourth rank allows a lot of pieces to enter the board quickly.
This is similar to Random Pawns, and I’m not sure it’s better.

Definitely this is worse version. For example, here you can lose in 3 moves, having 0 chances to avoid checkmate
Do note that stalemate loses. There’s definitely strategy to this and zombie teams WoFs are not rated.

You can avoid that by moving king away from the attack.
If this was a good idea, then is this a replacement for Random Pawns or are they both in rotation?
