    Hi Mike,

I have coached for a long time, since the late 1970's.  I have a lot of the information you are looking for on my website at

I expect to be setting up and announcing some seminars/group lessons in the near future also.  Groups tend to be more cost-effective for the player and the instructor.

Hello Mr. Bachler. My name is Mike. I live near Park Ridge and am curious how coaching chess works. I am self taught and have been playing for 15 years. I've read many books, and have played in minimal tournaments. I enjoy playing, but there is always room for improvement. Please write back with any info you can share. i.e. cost, times, days, etc. Thanks.
