Fehlende Analyse Funktion bei Diamand Mitgliedschaft, Missing analysis function Diamond subscription

Ich kann seit einiger Zeit die Analyse Funktion nicht mehr benutzen da sie nicht mehr verfügbar ist.  Diese Funktion ist für mich elementarer Bestandteil meiner Nutzung (gewesen). Sollte diese Funktion nicht in den nächsten Tagen wieder aktiviert werden, erwarte ich eine Minderung / Rückerstattung des Jahresbeitrags und kündige hiermit an, mein Abo nicht zu verlängern.

Das es sich beim Grund der Deaktivierung um Missmanagement von chess.com handelt, ist offensichtlich. Es geht hierbei ausschließlich um nicht vorhanden (Server/CPU-) Ressourcen die man auf diesem Wege (zu Lasten der Abonnenten) einsparen will.

Und genau das ist für mich als Diamant-Abonnenten völlig inakzeptabel. Ein paar Tage vielleicht noch okay, bei tatsächlich technischen Problemen, ... aber so - sicher nicht!



I haven't been able to use the analysis function for some time now, as it's no longer available. This function was an essential part of my use of the platform. If this function isn't reactivated within the next few days, I expect a reduction or refund of my annual fee and hereby announce that I will not be renewing my subscription.

It's obvious that the reason for the deactivation is mismanagement by chess.com. It's solely about saving on non-existent (server/CPU) resources (at the expense of subscribers).

And that's completely unacceptable to me as a Diamond subscriber. A few days might be okay in the case of genuine technical problems, but like this – absolutely not!

The Analysis is still available.

to add specifics: until 02.11.2025 I could upload PGN files and run the Analysis on them. Since then the Analysis option only appears for games played while logged into my account — uploaded PGNs no longer show the Analysis feature.

This is a major limitation for me because I often play as a guest and relied on uploading those games for analysis. It significantly reduces the value of my Diamond subscription.

Attempts I made:

Logged out and back in
Cleared browser cache / used incognito
Updated / reinstalled the app
Tried other devices and browsers
Verified subscription status (active, Diamond)
I have a screenshot showing the PGN analysis still working on 02.11.2025. If others see the same change, please report it here.

chess.com: please confirm whether this is an intentional change or a bug, explain the cause, give an ETA for a fix, and explain how affected Diamond subscribers will be compensated. If the feature is not restored within a few days I will request a pro‑rata refund and will not renew my subscription.

The Analysis option is in the upper-right corner of that screenshot. The

I know how to use it and where it is.
The message says: Game analysis is currently unavailable. We apologize for the inconvenience and are working to resolve the issue.

And that's why I say this is not a mistake, but rather a calculated move at the expense of the customers.

I just tested loading a PGN and analysis is working as expected

I tried both pasting in a PGN and uploading one. Where are the files you're trying coming from? It's possible there's formatting the code can't handle.

PGNs from games on chess.com I played as a guest (not logged in) can be exported, but when I log into my Diamond account and upload/paste those PGNs on the Analysis page the Analysis option no longer appears. Account games still show Analysis.

Reproduction steps:

Play on chess.com as guest (not logged in).
Export/copy the PGN.
Log into Diamond account.
Upload/paste the guest PGN on the Analysis page.
This worked until 02.11.2025. I have used this exact workflow since the start of my membership hundreds, if not thousands, of times — it is essential to how I use the service. I have a screenshot from 02.11.2025 proving the PGN upload/analysis worked then and can paste a sample PGN for testing.

I just tried that successfully.
