I have recently started chess again as I took a long break from online and OTB chess but I am back here and trying to improve

Edit ( 6 Aug 2024) - I have started to play a lot of chess tournaments (OTB) and found myself a coach too there is a rating tournament in Sep so I have started my prep for it

Edit (1 Jan 2025)- Started the grind to 2000 Bullet and Rapid

Edit (12 Jan 2025)- Played a OTB Tournament and got 5/6 Points

Edit (13 Jan 2025)- Got a Chess clock DGT 2010

Edit (24 Jan 2025)- Got All time Highest Rapid Rating 1380

Edit (25 Jan 2025)- Reached 1400 Rapid

Edit (29 Jan 2025)- Reached 1100 Bullet

Edit(6 Feb 2025)- Reached 1200 Bullet

Edit(17 Feb 2025)- My Annual exams have started , so I don't have much time to play chess but I will try to play bullet or blitz apart from this there are 2 FIDE rated tournaments that are going to held in march so when my exams end(7 March) I am gonna go all out to push my rating to at least 1600 rapid.....

Edit(9 March 2025)- My exams ended , I have a classical tournament on 23march to 27 march. I have started to prepare and play chess again as usual . I also have a tournament in another state (Delhi), It is a Blitz Rated tournament in which many IM's and a GM is coming.

Edit(13 March 2025)- Reached 1500 Rapid

Edit(20 March 2025)- Finally after soo much hard work I got 1600 rapid , my classical tournament is near. I will still try to get more rapid rating but focus more on playing OTB so that I can adapt easily in the tournament .

Edit(27 March 2025)- My First Classical Tournament in 2 years is finally over . I scored 6 out of 9 points with 4 wins 4 draws and 1 Loss , I got paired 4 rateds and defeated 2 of them and drew with 2 . Edit(2 April 2025)- My Delhi Blitz Tournament has finished and I scored 5/9 points and got 8 rateds out of which I scored 4 points so I am kinda expecting my FIDE Blitz rating to be 1507.

Edit(4 April 2025)- Reached 1300 Bullet

Edit(3 May 2025)- My blitz fide rating came in 1566 . I had taken a 1 month break but i am back on online chess and till the end of summer vacations I am hoping to get 1700 Rapid

Edit(28 May 2025)- I have started to play some blitz as well for warmup

Edit(27 June 2025)- Reached 1700 Rapid (finally ended the plateau)

Edit(30 August 2025)- Played in SGFI selections for my divison in U-17 category and got 7th position with 3.5/5 points that is 3 wins and 1 draw and 1 loss . NOT Qualified for State SGFI and this puts a full stop on my last SGFI run. This tournament has fired a revenge fire inside of me and i am now determined to play more FIDE events after my half yearly gets over

Edit(5 September 2025)- decided to play a lot of OTB Tournament as I am struggling with OTB Chess lately

Played a Local chess tournament and scored 4.5/5 with time control of 15|10 and defeating a rated in process and securing 1st position overall

Edit (7 Oct 2025)- I just completed playing one of the strongest event I played with one of my worst performances , it was state amateur championship and I scored 3/7 points ik.. this is very bad but the crazy thing is it was a 2 day rapid tournament and I scored 3/4 on the first day . But sadly lost all the games on the second day …. but still it was a good experience as I played against a 2100 FIDE and ofc lost but I noticed all my gaps and flaws that I need to work on

Edit(25 Oct 2025)- Reached 1500 in bullet

Edit (2 Nov 2025)- Played a Rapid and Blitz chess OTB Tournament and scored 4/6 in rapid securing 8th position by beating a strong FIDE rated player in the last round . In Blitz I scored 5/6 beating my long rival who was rated 1600 FIDE and secured 3rd Position

Edit (23 Dec 2025)- Played a Rapid rated tournament and scored 6/9 and got 4 rateds and defeated 2 of them , ended up winning some cash prize with 33rd place out of 200 people . STILL didn’t get rapid rating as i played with 4 rated ( 5 are needed). It was a 2 day event and I scored 2/5 on the first day and had been sure that this will also be a veryy bad tournament but the unexpected happened I scored 4/4 on the second day and went home undefeated which proved to be one my best performances .

Edit (18 Jan 2026) - Played the Khelo MP selections for my block , Scored 5.5/6 and got 1st Overall position. Defeated a 1550 FIDE and drew with a 1502 FIDE and got the performance rating of 1842 *Qualified For District *

Played the Khelo MP selections for my district (Yeah on the same day) , Scored 4/5 and got 2nd Place overall due to bad tiebreaks . Defeated a 1411 (with a brilliant bishop sac) and a 1502 . Drew with a 1415 and a 1546 and got the performance rating of 1696 *Qualified For State*.

This was one of my best performances ever in a single day , I played 11 games of 10+5 and didnt lose a single one , drew 3 games and won 8 games. Pure Dominance!!
