Beautiful pieces, but those look like dogface white knights. Seems like either they or the black knights must've come from another set. Guessing the black, as they look a bit glossier than the rest of the black pieces.
This appears to be an early Lardy set paired with mismatched BCC or post-BCC queens. Both date to the early 20th century.

hey Francis, thanks! I also came to this conclusion, at first i did not even want to include the white pieces,even tho the kings and queens are exactly the same (and weighted), the white knights for sure don't belong there, and they look very silly,.. im quite new to chess, but came upon this set for 5 dollars somewhere..it is the beauty of the black knights, which caused me to look for more info on these pieces, the closest resemblance were mouthdrop Staunton-something...
