I can see someone putting a file out on "HOW TO GET THE MOST OUT OF YOUR CHESSUP2"
A document as such would go a long way for a person to benefit from Chessup and in the end sell more units.

Is there any way you can study openings on Chessup2? I bought it to study openings on a real board and also lessons that I see are coming out on 3.0
I have the new board and can say it’s a really good way to play. It’s like having your own chess club at home as you can play other players on chess.com but actually look over physical pieces. I like this board as the squares light up so clearly you can see exactly what pieces have moved. It’s really well designed as it’s sleek looking as well with an easy to follow small screen to start the games for chess.com players. After playing a game I can review the game as normal on my phone using the app. The time limit I’ve settled on is 10 mins the shorter times you tend to lose time moving your opponent’s pieces. If there’s a 10% offer I wouldn’t hesitate buying it, it gives you another way to play games
Hello,
I received my Chessup 2 and I'm happy with the board but I wonder why the pieces are grey?
Any idea?
I preferred the Chessup (1) pieces.
Is there ever going to be the option to compete in tournaments on chess.com from the ChessUp2?
That was a feature I was disappointed to see was not on the ChessUp2.

What time control tournaments are you thinking of? You would lose out big time, having to setup the pieces for both sides, after each game.
Depending on how the matching and game start worked, it would either start the game, and you would lose, due to not making the first move in time, while you're setting up the board again.
Or, it might not start you into a new game until all the pieces are set up, (less likely scenario). And then you would lose out on the overall number of games you'd get to play.

That's true, I didn't think about it that way. But I still think it could work, if you could only enter swiss tournaments, and it doesn't take that long to set the board back up.
Can you play USCF tournaments on chess.com with the chessup 2?
If the board would sync with other online tournaments it should work.
Hi Martin, It would be great if the company would write a PDF file on the topic
"HOW TO GET THE MOST OUT OF YOUR CHESSUP2" I would even pay to get a copy if it was independently published. I am too old to start a project as such, but to me, that is something that should be done. The more players who feel it is useful for studying, etc., the more units they will sell $$$.
Just wanted to say that I ordered my board the day before Christmas and received yesterday. Very nice set and am so happy with it. All pieces are recognized correctly, and I haven't had any issues so far -- but have not played online as of yet, just Bot games.
Just for context, I own the Millenium King and Square Off Pro chess boards, and I really like the chessup 2 the best. Having piece recognition is a signficant part of it, where I can't misplace pieces. Also it's nice to set up a position for analysis or opening play using the Board Editor. Congrats to BryghtLabs for making this nice and affordable set.
Is there ever going to be a way to chat with at least your friends while playing them on the ChessUp2? Kind of like when you type in the wifi password?
I just got my ChessUp board today. No issues connecting to internet or Chess.com. However, the squares are not lighting up on startup, so I cannot play. I've updated the firmware and reset the board several times. No dice.
Can you send us an email info@bryghtlabs.com and we will troubleshoot with you. If you could share a short video that will help us as well.
Thank you
