The first player has a king.

The second player has king and queen.

    The first continue game.

    Who is idiot?

I think chess players are very special people, and I am.Most players here can not quietly accept the loss of the game. This combination of wisdom and idiocy is very sad, but unfortunately is common among amateurs - chessplayers .Just calmly need to accept the fact that to be winners there must be losers!

It is, by design, a zero sum game. If one doesn't learn from losses, then one doesn't learn at all.

  • #4

Yes it is, we must learn from the lost games.

My mum grew up in a small village where they had a village idiot named "Spot Lamb". One day some strangers stopped Spot and asked him which way to Sherbourne. He started to stutter a response and one of them said "Oh don't bother with him, he's an idiot." Spot replied "I might be an idiot but I'm not lost am I?" Not sure if he played chess.

why is it up to us to choose who is an idiot and who is wise?for the sake of humanity, please please, just respect the fact that we are all idiots sometimes and wise sometimes as well,as perfection is a fictional word that has no relevance to us.As it does not exist in us but Christ our Lord!!

So you are re-expressing your original question? Why, wouldn't it better for all confused poster here to open another thread instead of increasing the confusion even more?
