An ideal book for a player of 1500 ELO

Which chess book would benefit a guy with 1500 ELO the most?

Thanks!

I recently purchased "Modern Chess Strategy" by Ludek Pachman, but the descriptive notation makes the content a bit confusing. A book that uses the algebraic notation would be better.

wow, that's an old book, maybe try Seirawan's Winning Chess Strategies: http://www.amazon.com/Winning-Chess-Strategies-revised-Everyman/dp/1857443853/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1338791117&sr=1-1

How to Reassess Your Chess - It made my rating go from 1770 to 1856 in one week, and it's definitely worth every penny. Buy the new edition, as it has excellent examples.
