Those are some great looking boards.! I do not like the white logo as its very distracting. A black logo like HOS uses is more subtle IMO. Why does the logo need to be on each end of the board.? One corner square is enough.Cry

Beautiful, thanks for posting the new colors!

Glad to see the logo is at least on the border on some of them.  That's much better than on the squares.

Those are Fantastic Boards & colors.! I just wish they used black for the Logo instead of White. Better yet, would be to put the Logo on the back of the board. Those Boards are way too nice to dirty up with a White printed Logo IMO. CryCry

Are you finding the logo on the square to be distracting during a game when the pieces are on the board?

PossibleOatmeal

Yes, I'm always bothered by the logos on the board.  During a game and not during a game.

Out of sight does not mean out of mind.  Laughing

To elaborate on my thoughts of the subject:

I personally think logos are tacky when pasted on the face of a product.  Not to insult BCE, I think the boards are beautiful and I understand wanting to put the company "signature" on it.  Some customers may even like the logo.  I personally do not like logos on the face of a chessboard.  I would prefer notation over a logo, and on this board, I think it looks best with no lettering at all.  This is just one honest opinion.

Here is another example, look at this exquisite example of a solid wood chessboard:

Beautiful craftsmanship!!!

The logo steals from her beauty.  A shame I think.

I take the time to explain my opinion only because of how much I like the BCE magnetic board.

It's definitely not out of sight during a game, anyway.

Kenardi... that is the best logo I have ever seen on a chess board.! Its hardly noticeable at all. I am not that picky with that subtle logo at all. The BCE boards are way too nice to put that hidious white logo on IMO.

I won't disagree with you on the quality of the logo... but this is not a logo contest.  Laughing

I think the BCE logo/lettering is natural not white paint.
