Don’t use Qtips. The cotton strands come off and stick to the wood making it look worse. Use a non-fibrous cloth.

It's satisfying finally cleaning those crevices. My knights have shiny white teeth now. :-)
How do you guys clean those tiny crevices on the chess pieces? I am afraid I might scratch it.
