I agree that CT-Art is the best tactics software you can get. But what you need to forget about is this idea of improving quickly. I have CT-ART 3.0, and except for the interface being updated its the same software.
Free sites like chesstempo.com are also excellent.
I need some advice:
I am an intermediate player who is hungry to improve quickly.
A friend of mine -who also acts as my chess coach- advised me to focus on tactics for now and he suggested that I should buy the CT-ART 6.0 (he promised I will never need to buy another tactics software/book/DVD ever again!).
He said that this is the newest version of what he considers the best tactics software out there.
He also showed me a link with the lowest price on the internet:
http://shop.chessdom.com/products/ct-art-6-dot-0-for-download-discount-pack
Do you guys think this is an investment worth making?
He also told me there are more than 10,000 puzzles of increasing difficulty in CT-ART 6.0.
Is this true?!?
Thanks in advance!
