Also, one of the biggest chess shop in centre and west Europe is Caissa (also from Poland) and I find information that it is also one from the most recommended shop.

To me a set can be nice for many different reasons. I don´t equal nice with expensive. And the only heirloom among my many sets is my late fathers simple set of german wooden chessmen and a vinyl roll up mat.
