Identification of Travel Set

Hi there

I picked up this cheap lightweight travel set for my son to play with his friends at a charity shop some time ago. Only cost £2.

Does anybody know more about it, when and by who it was made? I've googled found similar sets but not the same.

Here's a few pictures. Thanks.

It looks pretty similar to the "King's small chess set" but some Pieces are different. Maybe an old version of It?

Yes that's the one I found that was similar.

I think is polish made, the board is not the same but the pieces quite similar, take a look here:

Thanks everyone. Does look like a Polish set and similar to a lot of your suggestions.

The pieces are REALLY light weight and flimsy and the bishops in particular quite crude. The board is also very light weight so think this must have been quite inexpensive when new.

Doubt I'll find the exact match but do look similar to the Weigel Polish sets they seem to be the closest match.
