If I may ask could you post a picture of the completed set of vanilla white and black prototypes just to get a visual perspective, from pawn to king (12 pieces total black and vanilla white)?Thank you, sir.

The cream colour looks great - the yellow reminds me of certain traffic signs.

The cream colour is wood actually...I think so...

Is there a photo that is supposed to accompany the first post, ifekali? I’m not seeing it if there is. Thanks
ifekali

There is a video and I inserted a couple of photos post festum.

I see them now. They look great! You do fine work.

Where can I find them on noj.si? Or are they not up for sale just yet?

ifekali

BCE Blitz sets are not on their homepage yet, for the time being contact them via email if interested. (For 3D printed sets, DM me.)

Also loving the 3D printed version... Was a little confused on the other thread though. Are you currently sanding away the print layer lines? Or shipping as printed?

This set has really captured my attention! happy.png

No sanding, too much trouble for result. I like them rough textured. There are some irregularities on surface, yes. Think battle scars. happy.png

If you're not sanding them or doing finishing of any kind then I don't see them being worth what you're asking.

Absolutely right, excellent point

What is with this trend of grotesque “modern” sets these days? Makes me want to throw up.
Virmus

@TakeThisPawn don't buy them. And spare us the negativity in this thread. Move on!

Somebody's having a bad day.

I think the Blitz version of BCE is the Best. Idea. Ever.

Balanced knights, solid rooks, flat bases.

However, I thought that the stainless base and leather pad add-on options provided the best stability for the original BCE? Too much?

Kohpablanca

Oh, they look gorgeous! Don’t own any Noj sets (yet), but if there were one, it’d be this Blitz set (except Western, just because that’s what I’m used to).

It’s a really beautiful, modern / minimalist design where each piece is still instantly recognisable and practical. I think that’s a really difficult balance to get right, and few sets I’ve seen do it well.

Congrats!
