Is “Winning Chess Openings” by Bill Robertie good?

It's ok for an absolute beginner who has no prior knowledge of, or formal exposure to chess openings. However there are other introductory books on openings which I would recommend in lieu of Robertie's book...

Nothing by Bill Robertie is good. He writes about so many different subjects ( Chess, Poker, Backgammon etc ). It's hard to take his work seriously.

As pointed out by RussBell, this is suited for amateurs and lacks depth in analysis. Better off bying somewhere else if looking for something serious.
