Cointossing requires two defined alternatives...
Well, in Pavmo7's variant, one in each tandem, throughout one game, has to pick the sort of piece to be moved, while the other one has to pick up such a piece and decide on a move. (No communication other than announcing the piece type is allowed in this way to play).

Oh, I missed that. Why? Let the teams decide and the team members communicate!
edit. I´ve now read up on the subject - Hand and brain, that is - and am OK with it.
