Must be a lot of legos for $30k! Pretty cool though. I wonder if you stop your clock when a piece starts or finishes moving?!

The retail cost must be the sum of the cost of the Lego pieces, the automaton components and the license for LabVIEW for Robots. Since the project was done by university students, there were no royalties included yet. If they sold this in mass production and did not change anything, expect it to be more than US$30k.
