New Clock Out?

The DGT 3000 always shows the seconds. I don't know if they have plans for a newer NA specific version. If I had to guess, I would say they don't, unless they want to try and compete with the LEAP clocks  on price (rebranded or not).

Just a follow up on the Advanced Digital Game Timer with bonus and delay from WSC.

Have a time rating as typed for the Wisconsin CLosed this Labor Day of

40 moves in 90 minutes

followed by sudden death in 30 minutes. All with 30 seconds increment

Once again I looked at the fixed settings and it is #4 this time vs #3 in last month's tournament.  This clock is just great.  I am sure giving it a work out so we shall see the durability of it but unfortunately that will take a year or longer. But I have no worries myself.

Just wanted to report back and tell everyone I am happier now than when I first bought it as it easily surpassed the clock i thought it would be. Just make it push button next and man would that be a heck of a clock.  Yes it still doesn't compare to the Chronos and V-TEK but then again it doesn't try to.  Entry level I still pick this the "best buy"

Hello, I bought the Wholesale Chess Advance clock and agree that is a very good clock for the price. However, in my opinion, to be "perfect", it would need to have an on-off push button instead of the slide switch on the bottom. Moreover, I'm really worried that, under heavy usage (for long blitz sessions, above all), this slide switch will not withstand such kind of wear. Does anyone have any suggestion for a workaround or fix for this issue ? It is really annoying that the clock life could be subject to the switch life.  Thanks in advance for any feedback

I would think that wouldn't be a problem. The DGT XL has the same type of swtich.

I have picked up 5 of the clocks from Amazon, my first two a couple of months after my last post in this topic. Mainly to have extra clocks for tourneys I run, but so far, I don't really see any issue with them and don't think the switch will be a problem.

Just a word of caution about the Wholesale Chess Advanced clock. You should take a look at the issues I mentioned about the clock in this thread, https://www.chess.com/forum/view/chess-equipment/is-the-wholesale-advanced-chess-clock-good
