I purchased this floppy neoprene (mousepad style) board from Chess Gorilla.
this is my honest video review about it. The opinions are mine.

I have been a fan of both the burl mousepad board to go with V2 Ultimates from ACE. See recent post here. The review showcasing different pieces on the sans notation board was helpful. Nice review @BigLew. TY!

Interesting aside: I, myself, had one player pooh-pooh the burl squares because he relayed that he "saw faces" in the squares. I studied hard, but I don't see them myself; luckily?! I see fractals maybe, but they do not distract me while at play.

Guess they are not for some (trippin' folks)...

Uh, oh, I must be trippin', hahaha! Just glancing at Big Lew's board in the still in post #1 I immediately saw a gorilla face in h2. Seriously, it's there - no beer goggles required!

Indeed but I assumed (somewhat-)standard clock placement to white's right.

Most folks are right handed, black gets choice of clock placement, so very often it’s on black’s right and white’s left. Doesn’t really matter though
Anyway, I wasn’t being nit-picky, just demonstrating why I like having a no notation board. 😂

Yes! I see the gorilla face now, and I can’t un see it. LOL
