Set from the Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik and amazing Swiss clock

I purchased this set in a small Swiss village for a surprisingly low price. It is from the famous company WMF. 
The clock is Swiss and the best in my collection. It is written „Läufer“ (English: bishop). Unfortunately I never found further information on it.

There is something special about this clock. I have two of them, and I only saw another one in an antiques shop in Bern, Switzerland, half destroyed. This clock is truly amazing, with a very modern and unique  design. I see this as one of my best chess items.

Thanks Powderdigit! Recently I was looking at this set. It is very playable, but the contrast between black and white is not great.
