Staunton Chess Set Acquisition Fascinating Knights

I just acquired this Boxwood and Ebony  set from a collector friend. Kings measure 3.75" in height with Pawns at 1 7/8". The pieces are quite heavy and may be triple weighted. I really like those "Big Headed" Knights. Enjoy the pics.

Another nice chess set Mike.! I have never seen this Knight pattern before. Face on pics of the Knights would have been better IMO. The Knights usually face each other face on, at least thats the way I set up my Knights. Thanks for the great pics.!

Cool set. Only downside is the height of the knights, which is too similar to the height of the bishops. Otherwise, an excellent set.
