Most likely they are trying to make room for some new collections. I am pretty sure they will be releasing at least three new reproductions: Steiner, Craftsman, and Jaques Andersson Drop Jaw. I wish they would reproduce a BCC and/or 1950 Dubrovnik.

That is correct. Steiner is just easier to spell. The new one from Carl will be a 5 inch king. I've always thought HOS was the first to come up with the Steiner repro.

it is easy to offer 50% off when i.e. the mahogany platform board had a cost of 370 £ a year ago and now is 499£. they have managed to sell really with a max of 25%.
