USSR vs The Rest of the World match

  • #1

    First match, Belgrade, 1970.

Anyone know if this match has ever been annotated by a master?

    Thanks.

I think there are two books on the match but am not 100% sure--one is a Chessplayer booklet the other a multi-language book published in Yugoslavia. Also there is a booklet with the speed match games done in English as well

There were at least 5 match books. Yudovich, Fischer and Bjelica, Schroeder,Hort, and Chess Player editions.

    one more: «СССР — Сборная мира», Т. Петросян, А. Матанович, 1970.

It had Russian commentaries for the  CCCP side, and English for the World team.

NM ZaidejasChEgis, thanks! I had forgotten about that one, since I filed it with my Fischer books.
