That is true Haverumwilltravel, Olive and walnut wood Lardies are a real beauty. The genuine boxwood used by Lardy is also very hard and lasting.
Where can I buy this set?
I bought a Lardy set 20 years ago and assumed I was the only one who got stuck with multiple leaning pieces and pawns with tiny nicks/divots in the tops. That set was a big disappointment. I later had much better results with different wood sets. It's reassuring (although also disappointing) to know I wasn't the only one who got screwed.
