Hi, 

Does anyone have any experience with the «official chessboard» sold from worldchess.com? According to their website the board is 50*50

cm with the squares being 50*50mm. Is this bord big enough with the official world championship chesspieces?

Yes, the board is large enough for the chess pieces. The board is also very nice. If you search you can find it for cheaper price as well.

Thanks for your reply! Are you happy with that board? I am myself used to play on a 55*55mm board. But I am considering to buy that board as well

I have the genuine official chessboard. It is very beautiful and high quality and perfect for any 3.75” king chess set. I personally like and recommend it.

I think the DGT chessboards have squares of 55mm. So that is probably what is used in the WC matches with that set (?) The above picture looks ok as well though. Some players prefer a slightly tighter fit.
