That's exactly what "Chess Mentor" or Lessons, as they are now called, is for.
A few dozen Tactics Trainer problems is also very helpful.
well, really id like a steady person with different knowledge than myself to play with and learn from to just kinda point out things that maybe i can work on that maybe i cant see for myself
That's what people pay coaches for.
They can be surprisingly reasonably priced. I had a coach for about a year many years ago back when I was making the most rapid progress,
Nowadays, they can give lessons online using Skype, so you can have easy access to some of the best coaches in the world, even if you live in the middle of nowhere.
If you can't afford a coach, then the online Lessons (Chess Mentor) and Tactics Trainer problems here can be very educational. Chess.com offers free computer analysis of your games too. The video lessons are very informative, but you have to buy a premium subscription.
Not to mention, the forums here are full of gratuitous advice.
However, if you want private lessons, a paid coach is the way to go.
Play a drills in old version of chess.com.This is hepfuly!
...bad people using two laptop playing game as they are the opposite after your move!! very bad. That's why you see so perfect moves with people with the 1.000 rating. So scary
No me,no me
When I was young I wanted a chess coach and noone was available. The 1800 players online could checkmate me and not even tell me what I did wrong when I asked them. I am not in the ability to teach now, but what happened to teaching others around you what you know? Build up your local chess club and players around you with what you have to offer. It is a shame that 1800s at the club can't teach the lower players why they won at the end of the game to someone who is interested in learning. They are too focused on their own ego.
Are chess coaches worth it? Yes, but up to 1500,1600 its mainly understanding how to get the pieces out right. From then on its about the middle game which is pretty complex. Also you have to have the time, cash and coach in the area to do it well. Playing blitz games helps with the basics.
You can give a shot , try a trial lesson with my coach . Check the link in my profile .
