I am Fide 1431 and gained over 100 rating points last year and will pay you to take lessons with me... just kidding, although the part about my rating is true.

I’m looking for a coach - brand new to chess. Read the book “Bobby Fischer teaches chess” and that’s it. Happy to pay in bitcoin if you’re not in USA. :)

Don't want money, want someone who wants to work a little on chess. So @housezhi: Give me your thoughts about this game. You will get mine then.

Honestly, I remember this game and I was surprised that my opponent did not block my kingside attack. However, I do think that my london opening needs more work meh.png

Chess is a concrete game. Any moves or lines or evaluation of moves?

Move 13 - my pawn sacrifice led to an exchange that I was hoping would displace his knight guarding h7. He had two opportunities to block my mate combination (move 15 & 16).

Anyhow, it was worth a shot and worked, but I usually get blocked lol

If you're down to connect and do some coaching, my skype is "thewonglv". happy.png

I wont get into skype the next 3 or 4 hours. I will send you my avatar there.

Your opening play was generally good, but lacks activity. 6.Bb5 creates some problems. You have two unprotected stones now, Bb5 and Pb2. I'm no specialist for the Bf4 Queen Pawn Openings. But I have the feeling this starts to be good for black, if he attacks with 6.Qb6. 7.Qb3 c4 8.Qa4 Bd7. This should be equal. But Black has achieved some space advantage on the queenside. So 6.Bd3 going for should be better.

Is any London specialist here viewing at the position from the white side?

What's about the mate: That's the way a player at the beginning should go for. It was easy to protect. But these are the pattern we all must learn at the beginning. When I come back I will give a Greco game here Euwe and Kasparov cited iirc.

@DavidStefanov: Well annotated! Enough stuff for several sessions at the TO's level.
