Oh yeah, and I went to chess mentor and I all I got was Mikhail Tal combos, which are too hard for me..
What are the best chess mentor courses for Intermediate Players

Mikhail tal combos r really awesome!Really beautiful,i know they are hard but they make you think,i think you should try that. But there are some intermediate tactics and champion tactics based on various themses, check those out too.

Hi Suvel,
Have you checked ICS? There are some old reviews about that course here http://www.chess.com/forum/view/general/any-reviews-of-the-international-chess-school and I took the bait as I'm running out of time (due to my age). I'm currently on Month 2 of the course and I find it very good.
The program is designed for intermediate/strong players (like you) with high ambition in chess.
The only complain I can say is the cost which is $39/month so most probably your parents should be part of the decision making here.
I want to work on combinations specificially...
Which courses are good for a USCF player rated 1400...
I have an OTB and I'm trying to do lots of tactics..
Thanks!
Suvel
