Anyone playing the two side attack?

Is anyone playing the two side attack 1.h4, 2.a4, 3. a5 and 4.h5? It seems quite promising. I have won 80% of my games with it.

Against who?  I looked through 5 of your recent games and didn't see it.

Post a win against someone with a good rating.  I'd be curious.

The ubermodern style of controlling the board with flank-developed pawns is, in my opinion, still inferior to the classicist theory of dominating the centre with the king, via lines such as 1. e4 e5 2. Ke2.

You're not playing the attack in this game.

It can be maximum good for blitz. This "opening" breaks every basic opening principles.

GreedyPawnGrabber

What opening principles? It is just another opening system with different ideas. If it is good enough for Bent Larsen why wouldn't be good for the average Joe.

abiogenesis23

Bent Larsen never played this... ???

Of course he did not play this.

Argonaut13

If you know what your doing then I guess no one can stop you...

I am pretty sure he played it at least in his last tournament a few years ago. Don't know before that.

I can see why you would say that. But personally I prefer 1. f3 e5 2. g4.

Umm okay?  I don't see any reference to racism anywhere.

And no, Bent Larsen never played 1.a4 or 1.h4, ever.

blitzjoker

Not even when he played his dad?

lol

we gotta remedy that!

Opening theory has moved further and further to the flanks. This opening may have taken hypermodernism as far as it can go. I suggest a new paradigm: adapt stealth technology from the military by hiding pieces in your pants until needed!

Sure it wasn't Bucky Larson?

or Bucky Dent?
