Books on the ruy lopez for black

I was looking  for a book on the ruy lopez from blacks perspective. I like the Chigorin Variation, but I haven't been able to find any book that cover this line. The book would also need to cover how to play the Exchange variation and whites other alternatives.

Look for a book on the Ruy, forget which side.  One common problem with "Repertoire" books is they get too involved with cheerleading for their side and make omissions, mistakes, over optimistic evaluations, etc.  If you must have a black view, try:

Play 1e4 e5: A Complete Repertoire for Black in the Open Games (Everyman Chess) by Nigel Davies (Paperback - Nov 1, 2005) - Illustrated

its a good book that has a lot of information.  Don't forget, white has several sidesteps even before the Ruy Exchange.

I always recommend Mastering the Spanish by Danny King & Pietro Ponzetto, if you can find it.  Discusses in depth the strategic plans for both sides, categorized by central pawn formation.
