Danish Gambit crushes black.

The Danish Gambit starts like this 1e4,e5,2d4,exd4,3,c3
After a few more moves black is crushed into a million pieces.
If the Danish Gambit was truly that good they would just transpose into the Nimzowitch Defense.
If they play the Nimzowitch defense I will transpose it into the Scotch game.

The Danish Gambit is a total joke. Black equalizes EASILY!
1.e4 e5 2.d4 exd4 3.c3?! dxc3 (3...d5 is also good) 4.Bc4 cxb2 5.Bxb2 d5! 6.Bxd5 Nf6 7.Bxf7+ Kxf7 8.Qxd8 Bb4+ 9.Qd2 Bxd2+ 10.Nxd2 and White has nothing! 0.00!
according to hikaru nakamura 4 Nxc3 is superior to 4 Bc4
Nxc3 is definitely more problematic than Bc4 precisely because of the line TF provided. That's why I play 3..d5

4..Bb4 after Nxc3 isnt very good imo. 3 .. d5 isn't noobish. It equalizes easily.

You dont play anything. If you did youd know then is even better at gm level. But its too complicated....just like kings gambit. Bb4 is nothing to scoff at though.....winning 1 free pawn, same as goring.

I never scoffed at Bb4. I said I only play what is good up thru the GM level.
What I am scoffing at is his idea of playing something simply because it is good up thru 2000, implying it is no good beyond 2000 because in reality it is bad, like the Latvian Gambit.
Nowhere did I say 4...Bb4 is no good at the GM level, I said "If it isn't good at the GM level".
