How can you counter white stonewall?

Andrei_Mainescu

Essentialy the title, I am really confused about countering : d4, e3, f4, Bd3, Nf3, h3, g4 and the attack.
Are there any sharp counters to this opening?
Thank you!

Just to me 2 cents here!

If he plays 0-0 would simply look at controling the a8-h1 diagonal since white light square B is misplaced and look pawn thrust that open the g file even would look at sacs piece for 2 pawns to open up the K, take the e4 square with N

If he plays 0-0-0 castle opposite side and start a race maybe B on g7 and stuff like c5 b4 a3 if would look at R sack at c3 weaking protection at the a file

I think there are some other decent previous threads about this, but one of the most important things for black to do is to trade off the LSB by b6+Ba6 or Bf5 (e.g. with g6). White’s position is just bad without the LSB (hole on e4, terrible DSB).
