Black can try to use the semi-slav move order, delaying Nf6, to take and hold onto c-pawn. It's unclear whether white has enough compensation. Black can make a similar pawn grap with Nf6 played earlier, but white can either choose to regain pawn, or get more clear-cut compensation for pawn.
The triangle system a 2012 everyman book has part of a chapter on 5bg2 b5etc. Not sure if the Avurkh books cover it, or avoid it by playing e3 and b3 earlier.
