    Look at the new opening I invented!  It won in one move!  I will call it "The Dude Opening"

    GM Tal used this opening frequently (before your time, I guess). Unfortunately, his opponents did not surrender instantly.Tongue Out

    Loses by force.

    White has 3 good first moves, and they are equally good...matter of taste.

    1.d4!, 1.c4!, 1.Nf3!

    What does "Game abandoned" mean? Does mean that it timed out?

    It means Black accepted the game but never made his first move.  When a game times out on the first move it's considered "abandoned" - it doesn't count for anything.
