Ok, no problem.
Nobody can play against the french
Sort:
You must be playing low-rated players. Playing Bb5 against the French is retarded. The Light Squared Bishop is White's best minor piece, and Black's worst. The Bishop belongs on either e2 or d3, depending on the line played. It goes uncontested, and Black's acts as a mere defender of the often weak e6 pawn (after Black has played f6 to break up White's center).
To play the French, you must be able to handle bad bishops, blocked positions, etc. I played the French for about 10 years from 1997 to 2007 over the board.
Those that play the French as Black ought to play the King's Indian against 1.d4 as it has all the similarities. Blocked center, Bad Bishop (only this time the dark-squared one), etc.
I'm playing all these blitz games and as black I love the french defense. But 90% of all the french games I play as black, my opponents fall for dumb traps in the opening. I just want a few good games so I can actually practice it.
These are the types of situations that happen:

Just be aware so if I play you in a game we can actually have a good game. :)
