Organization of Lines

Hello,

I am looking for a way to organize my chess repetoire in a way that I can take it to a tournament for study on the go. I do not have a laptop, so if there is any way I could put it in a binder or something that would be great.

Could someone please help?

It's difficult without knowing what you play.
Also why do you need to carry it around in a binder? just memorise it, unless of course youre trying to play 15 move mainlines.

I simply organise mine in a progressive tree format

for example:

1.nf3

(a) 1.d5
     2.c4
(a1) 2..c6 3.cxd5 cxd5 4.d4
(a2) 2..e6 3.cxd5 exd5 4.d4
(a3) 2..dxc4 3.e3
(a4) 2..d4 3.b4

and so on.

I would like to keep it in a binder in case I need to review some of my longer lines. Should I organize an index for that, or something different?

how long ae these lines?

an easier solution would be not to waste time with opening theory

The lines would range between 7 up moves, depending.
