Majunnah Formation Peretz Variation (Rate a new opening) (Feedback Wanted!)

I hate playing against 1. d4 It's so boring and I love aggressive open creative chess like the King's Gambit, Evan's, Scotch etc. So I made the Peretz Variation.

All games you were losing and they made a huge mistake

Uh that opening is already named
YNO17

It's meant to be a blitz opening, not perfect play. Just meant to get dynamic and active games.

As for it already being named , I totally understand the concern about existing names. Just to clarify: I'm calling this the Peretz Variation not because I think I invented c5 f5 from scratch, but because I've been playing this specific setup in dozens of games and exploring lines no one's really documented as a full system.

I'm using the name as a way to organize and share my personal system and to invite feedback or analysis. Think of it like the 'Rapport-Jobava System'—those ideas existed before, but once someone puts energy into expanding and promoting them as a practical repertoire, it gets a new identity.

If anyone knows an official name for this exact line ( c5 f5 followed by this Dutch-Benoni hybrid setup), I'd be grateful to learn! But until then, calling it 'Peretz Variation' is just a way for me and others to talk about it clearly.

Most games don't pursuit the setups I have which is what I'm naming not the move order itself.

It gets tiring to see posts with "invented openings" that are either complete garbage or as in the case above, already have an accepted name.

The thar gambit doesn’t sacrifice anything

I'm not talking about the first few moves as the peretz variation. I am referring to the system of kingside castling attacking that way and the activity of the bishops. Additionally Just because something has a name doesn't mean it can't be renewed. For example ruy lopez being the spanish Russian defense is the petroffs etc. I could go on and on. What was the last time you heard of the majunnah or the clarendon court defense. I'm trying to open up a line that I feel has yet top be properly explored and analyzed. Just bc. it has a name doesn't mean it can't be modernized for modern computer chess blitz etc.

It's one pawn..... Not much in blitz, and through dynamic play you should be able to get it back. The point of this opening is not to be inherently good, it's to change d4 games from a boring positional pawn pushing snoozefest to something aggressive and dynamic.

The Englund Gambit and the Stafford are objectively bad but see a ton of use in blitz, same idea

Sussyguy4890
It doesn’t sacrifice a pawn
Sussyguy4890
And the mujannah formation doesn’t sacrife anything either
YNO17

I don't understand you say it is the Majunnah but then say it isn't..? The old Benoni which is how the peretz begins sacrifices a pawn. Granted you will recoup it but still. I'm not talking about the Thar.

Sussyguy4890
The mujannah formation is what you showed us
YNO17

No I showed you the Peretz variation which is the follow up to the Majunnah

Sussyguy4890
Which is the same thing?
YNO17

No it's the formation of the bishops and the kingside castling, that's what I'm trying to explain, did you read the lichess study?

YNO17

The Majunnah is the first 2 moves the peretz is what comes after
