Hi HurtU,
One way you might do this would be to use Learn > Explorer.
Where it says Master Games, select instead My Games (or search by another username).
It is not exactly like searching by opening, but you can play the moves out to reach the games in the positions you are looking for. Hope it helps.
Best.
Am I missing something or does chess.com not show what opening was played when you look at your (or another's player's) list of games played, like lichess does?
Sometimes, after I play somebody, I'll examine the games they've played because I'm interested in how they have played that same opening against other players. Let's say they like to play the Benoni Defense as black. I just played the white side of a Benoni against them and I am impressed on how well they played it. I look at their list of games, interested in only those games in which they played the Benoni as black, and I have no way of knowing which games were a Benoni.
Am I missing something? Is there a way of doing this that I'm missing?
Thanks!
