Black is currently up a minor piece and would get two more minor pieces for the Queen. White would end up without an attack and material would be even as three minor pieces is worth at least a Queen.
The Sicilian Sozin

Interestingly enough I have started on the same book :)
But as being a much weaker player than cp03008
I stopped a little earlier than cp in this match.
In move 14- is 14..Kc7 the obvious best move for black?
Does black not want to loose his fiancettoed bishop
and consider an exchange with the knight on c6
as a bad deal?
Hello.
I like playing the sicilian a lot so i find a book about it Michael Golubev - The Sicilian Sozin.
I am in the very start of the book, in the introduction where the author have posted one of his games with Sicilian Golubev - Mantovani and I have a question about a position in this game. So here it is :
So this is the position and is blacks turn to play. The problem that i can see for black is that his queen is hanging. If white plays Ne6 then the black queen is lost.
Instead, black is not going to protect his queen, because obviously he sees something that i cant and here's how the game continues :
As you can see white dont even care about blacks queen that he could capture with 18.Ne6 fxe6 19.Bxc5.
Whats the point?
Can please someone explain?
Thank you!
