The two knights is my favorite opening.

Here's a game with the two knights:

You lose the center in this line and eventually the game

I played that line in many games, and I won.

Also, even if black will control the center, his king is vuneable, and can't castle.

Sorry, ...Kg8 and ...h6, and you're in trouble

I hated playing the Two Knights with black. thats why I stopped playing e5 after e4. maybe I should have tried the traxler counter attack that would have been more my cup of tea. however, I'm playing the sicilian (Paulsen-Kan or Hedgehog) now and I'm more happy with it.

But the line which was working best for me in the Two Knights was this:

1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. Bc4 Nf6 4. Ng5 d5 5. exd5 Na5 6. Bb5+ Bd7 7. Bxd7+ Qxd7

The opponents didn't seem to know this very well.

I prefer the gambit 5...b5

I know this opening well!

The opening doesn't work out so hot if you are playing someone over 1250.  They have most likely seen it before.

1. This is my best opening, and 2. Someone might find a new improvement

Here's an idea, don't know if anybody else has found this piece sacrifice before, but in any case regardless of established theory I think 10...Bc5 is Black's best move

.Nd4, 0-0, and Kh1 I belive good for white
