There are a lot of openings out there but what do you think is the best one?
If you’re white go for pawn to e4 if you are an aggressive player. If you prefer calm play then start d4 instead
As white I personally prefer the Queen’s Gambit
As black I prefer the Alekhine of Sicilian defense

My favorite is the kings pawn opening.
i use basically a Colle opening then respond to whatever is happening. my rating is also lower than whale sh*t so...

The English is fairly popular at the top level and achieves decent results
