Why not the King's Gambit?
Thanks Anthony, I played the whole game over trying to anticipate white next move. I bet Sharon knows! lolo
Silly KGD nublet...every seasoned Kings Gambit player knows that if it's accepted you can't play 3. d4 right away due to that awkward position. you can however play Nf3 or even Bc4 where the king can go to f1 without any further harrassment after the useless and tempo losing 3...Qh4? which can be countered afterward by Nf3 causing the queen to waste time to escape danger. The whole game was ugly for white until black blundered. But a win's a win! n__n GO KINGS GAMBIT!!!

I had no clue what was going to happen next! Great game!
Thanks, Doll, I am glad I am not the only one that enjoyed it. Its like two boxers black rushing out of the corner, and hammering his opponent with a heavy barrage. White a little groggy but slowly weathering the storm. He might last the round to come back and win the fight! Dang, I should be a sports caster for chess matches
But I do feel a little bad because I could not figure out what "lion009" was trying to relate?
Well, In my opinion, after 2....exf4, it's much more comfortable to play 3. Bc4 than 3.Nf3.

I actually feel pretty good about knowing "lion009" made no sense. Socrates didn't know anything
I like being the soul-sucking vampire and play
1.e4 e5 2.f4 d5 3.exd5 exf4 4.Nf3 Nf6
much to the chagrin of King's Gambit players.
In correspondance, I might venture into the 3...g5 variation.

Is that considered soul-sucking nowdays?
If Gonnosuke thinks so, then it must be true.
Compared to the main lines, this would be probably be considered somewhat dull. But I like it and KG players do not. Sounds like a good line to me.

I was just wondering because as a French player, I'm always trying to come up with new ways to be a jerk.
I dabbled with the Kings Gambit for a time. I Never won a game with it.
I've dabbled in the King's Gambit for a long time. I win most of my games with it. But I have a way sexier picture than you, which no doubt explains it.
If the KG gives you trouble, you should try the Vienna Gambit. Similar concept, gambiting the f pawn to open the bishop up, but the delay helps a little.
I do not know why I have been playing this opening against stronger opponents and finding myself in deep dogy do-do. The idea of opening the King's Bishop file for the king Rook appeals to me but thats not going to happen! Any one aspiring to be a master chess player must see this game, it humbles me to see such play, that I know I will never walk throught that Master door way which so many think it is not that difficult. I was sure white would lose but...... If you are not a member here you will not be able to see such games!!
