Well, yes, for the most part you can ignore it and get on with...er...kings indianing. I am still not sure about your explanation. Are you planning to edit more in later? As a player of the KID and KIA I know which side I am on, just wondering as your phrase is a little vague.
yes i am
this is a match between 2 GM's which 1 of them has deteriated as white
Interesting play from Black. I love the massive pawn advances but are you sure White was a GM?
i don't know what happened to the last few moves but the rest are fine
Your reasoning isn't very good...
The London is quite OK against the King's Indian, actually.
You just cannot play the same pattern moves all the time, white has to follow-up differently against a KID setup.
The GM who "got his GM title luckily" is errr... Ivanchuk.
Fabiano Caruana was playing Black. White has some advantage after Black's sixteenth (17.a5), but obviously Chucky had an off day (doesn't happen too often, but when it happens, he can also lose against 2000-rated players).
This makes a lot of sense. Many players play the London System against the King's Indian. If you think it is so bad, then prove it with some decent analysis.
he called Ivanchuck an idiot...i can't believe it!
like all of ur setups?
You know who White was? Who was Black? I can't believe Ivanchuk played so badly.
the london system doesn't take full advantage of blacks temporary passiveness but the samich does which is the only con of the king's indian
a new forum is being made saying why the owen's is bad
IM pfren tells us who plays white or black
Don't you dare put our game into that forum jake, i let you win on purpose and u will just humiliate me.
The London was designed as a Black defense against the Reti, so it does fine against the KID with an extra move in hand.
