     Capablanca because he made it all seem so easy. Just play simple moves, you don't need speculative sacrifices or brilliant combinations unless your opponent makes a mistake and leaves himself open. Build a better position until the other player can't prevent you from obtaining a positional advantage that will let anyone with perfect endgame technique finish them off. It's the fact that so many other great players could so seldom stop him that makes a lot of his victories seem almost pre-ordained.
