Well if I only read threads that didn't annoy me, I wouldn't have anything to read. Still have a right to disagree with what you write.

yes, you are right. you have a right to disagree, you have a write to criticise, you have a right to protest, to oppose, to refute.

You have the right to express your high regard for Fischer, without me calling it, 'biased drivel'. For which I apologise. Crack-on.

Okay.

Now, now, kids! Play nicely with each other. Let's separate the chess from the personalities. Bobby Fischer was quite clearly severely mentally ill from the mid-70s onwards (how can one otherwise explain that someone who's half-Jewish turns into a rabid anti-semite?). Botvinnik was a staunch communist and systems man, Alekhine a Nazi turncoat who wrote despicable newspaper articles about the supposed differences between Aryan and Jewish chess. Kasparov is almost tragically self-centred, and so on and so forth. Leave those unsavoury aspects to one side, and let's discuss the chess aspect instead.

The OP is correct and he is the only one to mention that Fischer did it on his own, without any trainer or any support from our beloved country the USA, which the Russian players had a lot support financially, trainers and seconds. Fischer was beating Botvinnik in the rook and pawn endgame and it was adjourned, Fischer analyze all night to find the win and Botvinnik and a team of very strong Soviet grandmasters help Botvinnik to analyze the position, it was Geller who found the drawing line not Botvinnik; no wonder Fischer voice his grievance unfair system. Botvinnik drawing because Geller and Fischer learned a valuable lesson, he must out-calculate these  cheaters. Fischer single-handed won the candidate matches and world championship, he out-calculated his opponent and did all the his analysis in the adjournments; while his opponents had the Russian system to help them achieve that one goal, beat Fischer. Fischer went against great opposition and prevail. I admire Fischer for what he accomplish, he did a lot for chess, brought more money so chess players can make-living, and better tournament conditions
