What is considered the greatest move in the history of chess?

Marshall's gold shower move , Qg3 of course!!! It's worth living just to make a move like this!

Funny thing about that Marshall game: in an interview Marshall's wife said there wasn't some much as a shower of pennies.

Really ?? Haha! Still , the move is fantastic! A piece of art , the absolute beauty of chess.

Nice thread topic!
Actually there is debate over the whole "Shower of Glod" incident. Carrie Marshall never said that in an interview but was reported as having said that by Al Horowitz in "Chess Review."  Marshall himself claimed it was true, but several people present claimed that bet losses were tossed on the table -Levitsky was actually the favorite in their eyes (here's something about Levitsky whose entire legacy is overshadowed by this one game, by this one move).

Here is my favorite Morphy move.
