Kramnick might be the worst in character.

And he might be the worst statistican / mathematician ever.

But he's certainly not a poor chessplayer.

I'm under 300 in all but daily.

My wifes sister used to have a boyfriend that would never played the white pieces.

He always played black he never won a game. He insisted that it was easier to win with black.

One Thanksgiving we were playing a game. They announced Supper is ready. I made my last move, "Check mate!"

He angrily, Said, "F.... Bobby Fischer!" I never played him again. Soon my sister in-law broke up with him.

Myself. I might be the worst titled player on the planet; that is precisely why the best I can get is an Arena title. I regularly lose to my friends who know very little about chess.
